I earned a Honors Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario, and then completed my Social Work degree at Lakehead University. I completed my EMDR training through EMDRIA (see the EMDR page for more on this amazing technique!)
Having travelled my own challenging path, I have a heart for people who are walking in hard places. I know how important it is to have someone walk with you, shining light into dark corners, showing you how to find firm footing, and guiding you towards joy, meaning and purpose on the other side. Working from a practical, trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, I will help you figure out the reasons why you think and react as you do and discover new ways of interacting with yourself, others and your environment.
